Hmm I dunno whether photoshop should be banned. Maybe thats a bit extreme.
I know Girlfriend magazine here in Oz (aimed at teenage girls) has small print that tells you when an image has been photoshopped.
I guess the thing that stays with you is the image, though. Images are powerful things. And body image is more of an emotional thing, not necessarily easy to rationalise with “Oh but the reason I don’t look perfect is because that model is photoshopped and I’m not.”

more women need to …
more women need to know about this since this type of imagery creates such a distortion as far as what we think of being an ideal…and because by virtue of the fact that this is all artificially created, that type of image is not attainable….and i would even go so far as to say that it looks fake.
there should be disclosure about it, and more pictures of naturally beautiful women.
