No! it is not illegal for them to post ur kids pictures on the myspace web page I think it would have been decent if they had asked you if it was ok but since it was a wedding and their pictures they do not need ur permission as long as it is not something in appropriate like pornography.
Maybe if you ask them nicely to remove your children's pictures they just may it is does not hurt to ask right and obviously you know the people who put ur children there right so ask just remember it is how u ask that will get u hopefully what u want ur children taken off myspace.
References :
No, it isn't illegal. What kind of law would that be? If you're a minor you need your parent's permisson to put up a picture of yourself? Half the teenage population would be criminals, then. And don't worry so much. No one can find anyone based on their picture. If you're not comfortable with it, ask them to put their profiles on private and take that off default. MySpace can be perfectly safe because of all the privacy settings you can make. But those are settings, and it's just as easy to give out a ton of information.
References :
There really is no difference if they are on myspace or in a local newspaper. just let it be or ask them to cover up your children's faces, or crop the picture so they are not in it. its a wedding picture its innocent enough. i say just let it be
References :
I couldn't be sure about the legality of it. It is sketchy and in a public place. If the pictures were clean and no harm than perhaps you could request the people to photo shop their faces out or just remove the picture all together? Would be simpliler and much less hassle than trying to bring the law down for an innocent thing like that. Even if they refuse I'm not sure if you could do much.
References :
my brain!
